My "working space" is in the Bio-optical Ocenaography Lab. There I do most of the computer systems administration (actually all of it). Actually I'm responsible for managing 6 PC's (NT 4 Workstations), 1 NT Server, two IRIX SGI's (UNIX systems), and 1 BayNetworks Switch. On the scientific part, I also do some programming and image data processing and analysis. I've strong scientific interest in marine modeling, coastal fluid dynamics, and remote sensing oceanography (ocean color). | ||||||||||||||||
